Since 1939, Huston Electric has evolved from an electrical contractor to a full service power and technology integration company. We will continue to evolve and provided the latest in technological products and services while being focused on our performance and continuing to build relationships with our existing and future customers. Rest assured, we will always be a premier provider of industrial, commercial and design build electrical services.
Huston is expanding again! We recently opened a new location in Lebanon, Indiana by purchasing certain assets of Boone County Electric on June 20, 2012 and will offer their current and new customers our products and services in electrical, signage, telecommunications, IT and back-up power.
In 2011, Huston Electric was presented with an award from Accident Fund Insurance in recognition of their dedication
to safety and excellence. Accident Fund was thrilled to honor Huston Electric with a safety achievement award for
being the #1 Contractor in the State of Indiana. Huston Electric is proof that with the right safety procedures in
place and 100% dedication to keeping employees safe on the job, unnecessary accidents and claim costs can be avoided.
| Huston Electric is proud to announce, Matt Boor, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Huston Electric, Inc. has been appointed to the Kokomo-Howard County Visitors and Convention Bureau by Greg Goodnight, Mayor City of Kokomo. This appointment is a One year term that began on January 1, 2012 and ends on December 31, 2012. With Matt’s vast experience and endless drive we are sure he will serve this organization to the best of his ability. “I am blessed to be able to serve my community by utilizing my experience on the Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance Board of Directors. As the former liaison between the Chamber of Commerce and the Alliance, I am excited to work with the Kokomo-Howard County Visitors and Convention Bureau. Matt Boor was born in Alamogordo, NM and moved to Kokomo at the age of five. Matt attended High School at Northwestern and graduated from Purdue & Indiana Wesleyan Universities. Matt is married to Hollie Boor and has two children.
On November 11, 2011 Journal & Courier listed Huston Electric, Inc. as the
2011 Reader’s Choice Award for the category “Electricians.”
Huston Electric was founded in 1939 and has continued to serve North Central Indiana
from their Lafayette & Kokomo locations.
On November 3, 2011 with Mayor Greg Goodnight, City and County Elected Officials, Guest Speaker Quinn Buckner and over
350 Business Leaders in attendance at the Kokomo Country Club, the Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance
announced Matt Boor, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Huston Electric, Inc. as Employee of the Year for 2011.
