Matt Boor of Huston Electric appointed to Region 4 Workforce Board

Huston Electric is proud to announce, Vice President of Sales & Marketing Matt Boor
has been appointed to the Region 4 Workforce Board (Alliance 4 Advancement)
by the Howard County Commissioner. This appointment began Jan 4, 2011
and continues through Dec. 31, 2013. With Matt's Vast experience and endless drive
we are sure he will serve this organization to the best of his ability. We again congratulate
Matt and look forward to seeing him help develop and enhance our community
through his commitment to quality.

Huston Helps Bring Volt Demonstration to Purdue University

What:
Public demonstration of energizing Purdue’s first electric vehicle charging station

Why:
Educate consumers on new transportation technologies involving two of Purdue’s strongest industry partners: General Electric & General Motors. Where possible, link to Purdue’s $6 million Department of Energy grant for program to educate and train the workforce needed to design, manufacture and maintain advanced electric vehicles and the associated infrastructure (i.e. workforce development, education, economic development).

When:
Tentatively set for December 13, 2011, 2:00 PM EST

Purdue campus, south east side Armory (rear of Elliott Hall of Music)
