I just wanted to take a moment and express my appreciation for the recent work done at Inventrek Technology Park. We had two wall-mounted large screen TVs, three ceiling mounted projectors, and a large pull down screen installed, and we are thrilled with the outcome! From the time we first spoke with Huston Electric until installation was complete, every person we spoke with was more than willing to help, to ensure that we were satisfied. Customer Satisfaction is obviously a top priority at Huston Electric!
The professionalism displayed throughout the entire process was very impressive! From the initial sales discussions, through the ordering process, during installation, and even equipment training and follow up, the communication was exceptional! I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for Huston Sign & Service for our logo and our message center signage on our newest office. We have received many compliments on how nice it looks and how it makes our business stand out.
Let me begin by saying what a pleasure it was interacting with EVERY Huston employee I spoke to. Everyone from the receptionist to the sales and design team to the installation team was professional in every sense of the word. All were very knowledgeable and courteous and each of them took the time to make sure that I was comfortable in each particular step of the process and made sure that all of my questions were answered and concerns were addressed. I especially have to hand it to the installation team. They did an outstanding job and were very friendly in otherwise miserable conditions. It was VERY cold, windy and snowy whenever they were around.
When I made the decision to go with Huston Sign, it was not because of the lowest bid. There were other bids that were lower than Huston. I chose Huston because of the level of expertise demonstrated to me in the sales process. All bidders for our project were knowledgeable and had a great reputation. What made Huston stand out was:
1) Houston was recommended to me by WatchFire. Choosing a sign company with a tight relationship to the hardware manufacturer meant fast and accurate service for us in the future.
2) Choosing Huston meant we had a fantastic design team, dedicated message center workstation hardware, certified electricians on the installation team (one less person to call/pay during the installation) and a fantastic warranty with a lifetime of service support.
3) What sealed the deal was that we would receive message center training on our hardware, at our facility, on our schedule, as long as it took until we were comfortable programming our sign. It was amazing to me that Huston had our message center programmed with messages flipping as soon as it was installed. There was no down time. We had not even opened for business but our sign was advertising!
We feel that we certainly received what we paid for. Huston really delivered, we could not be happier.
I have already recommended Huston to the other business in our building and they engaged Huston to purchase a message center like ours. I look forward to doing business with Huston well into the future. Please share this with every employee of Huston.

Please allow me the opportunity to tell you what a wonderful job Huston Sign & Services recently did for our operation. As you know, our operation is currently going through a name change and re-branding exercise to reflect our parent companys name and colors. We were pressed for time to have all our signage changed, as we were having a 100 year / name change celebration. Huston worked with our parent company for specifications and successfully had our new signage installed ahead of schedule. I truly feel Huston Sign & Services understood our needs and our time constraintsI truly feel as though Huston Sign & Services put our project at the top of their to do list. Huston Electric did retro-fit whole-home automation for me, with which I could not be happier. The features include multi-zone audio throughout the house and outdoors, built-in surround sound for all of the televisions, programmable control of all of the lighting and full integrated networking of all computers, audio and video playback devices. It is truly amazing.
My initial intention was simply to have audio throughout the house. I had several companies quote that job and all expressed concerns about being able to retrofit a system without doing major damage to the house, except Huston Electric. Their sales rep did a thorough inspection of the house, identified the points of concern and then returned with an electrician and a networking specialist. After learning what I wanted, they educated me on the relevant technology and made several suggestions to improve and expand on my initial plan. They then came in with a bid that was significantly lower than the others, which allowed us to go ahead with the more extensive system.
The installation itself was absolutely professional and went off flawlessly. There was constant communication, making sure that the plans were meeting our expectations and that we understood all of the options. The end result is far better than I could have imagined. I would be happy to discuss my experience further or to have anyone interested have a look at the work. It really was a remarkable job, for which I am very grateful.
